Come to SF, it's nice here, just in the morning some fog, but later on- warm and sunny. :) I whish there was some rain` so I would not have to water my garden as much and pay a big buck when the water bill comes

Henning

You can bucket up some of that rain and send it down here - drought is always lingering around some dusty corner of this continent! :(

If you do send down many buckets of the stuff, we would say: tanks a lot (to store it in)!

Cheers :)

Henning,

Want to trade for the Southern California sun and heat? "I'll take the rain," as the R.E.M. says...

May I borrow some of your space here, Henning?

I've just finished watching a wonderful film titled, "Ciao, Professore!" lent to me this weekend by a man I met with the surname of Coppola. He grows organic pineapples nearby, and is a musician and highly-skilled carpenter. As a child, whose origins were of southern Italy, he suffered the familial prejudice of an uncle from northern Italy. I had no idea of any of this phenomena   .

Watching the film, I missed Vesuvius! What am I to do with all these papers and magazines that relate to Reagan? Lacking adequate answers on that, I felt prompted to parody this poem:

Dear Vesuvius
Please find me
I'm almost 60

The sidewalks are filled with Love's lonely children
It's RAINING on my house and none of the others
Love is for fools and God knows I'm still one
The sidewalks are filled with Love's lonely children

(And then Nick Cave goes off, as he does.)
