congratulations for a great mach goes to England. Rooney is such a great player and still so young.

we're not THAT disapointed. we had little hope to win against England and France. we expected to win against Switzerland, ofcourse, but unfortuately we didn't play that well then like agains France where we had a good chance to win.

hope you play as well against Portugal as you did against us, and let the best team win!

funny fact: since Scotland didn't qualify, and they are great sport rivals with England, on the day of the match they all dressed in Croatian T-shirts to watch the game and support Croatia.

I am not a massive footee fan but when they have international games like Euro 2004 it is a pleasure to see so many people flying the flag of St George reclaiming it from the NF.

I think we lost to Switerland Jurica.

Apparently (and I have taken advice elsewhere on this) we don't stand a cat in hell's chance of winning the next match.

Anyway onwards and upwards

Do you think Rooney looks bloody old for his age?

Football matches every evening.
Life is bliss :D

and Wimbledon has started with Henman storming , oops I mean stuttering, through to the next round.

Paula, you did not lose to Switzerland, you lost against last Euro champions, France (2:1 in the last minute). you won against Switzerland 3:0.

and you more than stand a chance against Portugal. although they play at home, you proved to be one of the best teams on this championship.

Pete, you should check Goran Ivanisevic also. this is his last tournament, and he is determined to leave a good impresion. he stormed trough Russian player Youzny 3:0. Wimbledon is his favorite tournament, and that's why he decided to play this last one although he didn't play for some time, and we all expected him to lose in the first round, but he acctualy played as if he was 20 again. great!

Jurica

The last time I went to a football match George Best was playing

I would rather have lost to Switzerland than France

yeah....I'm rooting for Goran too. In fact all three of him!!
Sorry I don't give Tim Henman much chances (don't shoot me!) - he'll be the eternal trier and propah British lad. He needs to be a little more like Mac the Mouth.

you have a lot of work to do 'till World Cup, or you'll be even more disapointed at home. that was a second team for the Czechs (only one player from their first team played from the start) who quolified as first in their group even before this match.
