Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
Regarding the Oakland concerts, does anybody know what kind of seats one gets for $250?
Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
I am not sure what the seating might be like in Oakland, however I looked at what the seating was like for Vancouver, and from what I could see it seems that $250 would get you a place on the floor. I would imagine it's the same ! I am also imagining that the price will go up ! Fingers crossed and ope you get a close and comfortable spot.

Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
Hi sunkist,
The Vancouver concert is in an arena, and yes, the $250 seats would be in the floor section but right now I have no idea how far back that would go...perhaps the first 20 rows or so, and up on the sides towards the front. The Oakland concert is in a lovely intimate theater which seats about 3000 max and again would assume the most expensive seats would be in the first 16 rows....A through P. Beyond that start Rows AA/BB/CC etc.... I'm sure everything in front of that will be $250.
The prices will NOT go up unless you deal with scalpers, touts, eBay, or any other agency other than Ticketmaster!
I was re-reading the Oakland thread from April of 2009 and several people who were seated towards the back, under the balcony overhang mentioned the sound was a little muffled. Just an fyi....

I looked at the tickets for Las Vegas and there are still tickets in row NN (14 rows back) available, so there may not be a big scalpers market for these tickets. (Just a warning to anyone hoping to resell on eBay.) I sat about 9 rows back in an arena in Kingston ON and the concert was totally enjoyable so I suspect all the tickets at this price will be decent. Good luck on your tickets.

There isn't really that big a 'scalpers' market for Leonards tickets-I have a client in Vegas who owns a ticket agency. He said the $250 prices and two shows meant there wasn't much interest in reselling. To resell a pair of $550 seats means he has to clear over $600 to make $1.
It is a common misconception that scalpers hit every show. Just looking at Stubhub there were only 12 tickets sold and most of the listings are speculative i.e. the sellers are selling what is available on Ticketmaster.
The fact that these shows have been on-sale for 4 weeks and still lots of seats available means scalpers would avoid attempting to buy and resell.
Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
I'm new to this site...and looking for the best tickets I can find for Oakland, Portland, and Vegas. Can someone please tell me why/how -- if tickets have not yet even gone up for 'presale' -- there are people auctioning off tickets to Vancouver and Oakland on Ebay?! Thanks
Edit: Got my answer! The people that had tickets for the cancelled Honolulu show have already been given a presale code -- it's those tickets for auction on ebay!

Thanks everybody ! What a great Man he is ! Sadly here in Vancouver the Venue chosen is the worst for seeing such an intimate performer. The acoustics at GM place (Rogers) are not good, and it's way to big a venue, Sadly for those reasons I will be taking a miss. A 21000 seating capacity is really not what I would fork over that kind of money for.Too bad really as there are a couple of good places that would have really been nice to see him in. Guess it's a bit about the money ! I will be curious to see how many tickets sell here in Vancouver, and the revue of the concert after.
To the rest of you lucky people ! Have fun and enjoy, for it may be the last tour.

Can anyone tell me how to join the fan club? Would like to belong anyway and would also like to get pre-sale tickets for Oakland. Oddly can't find any info about how to actually join the fan club!
Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
Ladies & gentlemen,
I know that some among you will hate me for what I'm going to post, and some will love me...
But I've just purchased one ticket for Oakland WITHOUT ever having bought a ticket for Honolulu!!!
Just go on Ticketmaster, and buy it!!
I guess these id...ts completely screwed this up.
Good luck!!
Andrew

Jarkko...if this is correct (one day prior to the regular presale), I hope those of us who DID hold tickets for Hawaii (and have not yet heard anything) do have prime seats for either Vancouver or Oakland. I don't understand why someone who did not even have a TM confirmation number for Hawaii could obtain a seat via TM for Oakland. Once again, I will be patient and trust in you and AEG. Just a little confused.
ps...beargains, I have no idea how you did this. I just now signed into TM and attempted to buy a seat in Oakland with no password. Totally blocked. In fact a window comes up requesting the Hawaii password. Tried it 4 times. If I enter the info requested of us, there is no problem. Would be interested to know how many others (non-Hawaii fans) have bought tickets today.

Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
I just tried ticketmaster.com for curiosity's sake, with no password. I did not buy a ticket, but I was offered a single ticket in the 2nd row or a pair in the 14th row, but only for the second night in Oakland. The first night (as well as Vancouver) required a password.
Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
Ronaldson....interesting. I only tried the first concert in Oakland and I was prompted for the Hawaii password. Yes, something is definitely askew.
Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
I've just re-checked my Ticketmaster account, and the ticket is there...
But when I tried to buy a second one, I was asked for the password.
The only thing I can tell you is that I accessed Ticketmaster through the Paramount - Calendar webpage...
Just lucky I guess.
Regards.
Andrew

Re: Presale to Vancouver and Oakland on Oct 7
I just tried Ticketmaster directly -- and through the Paramount calendar website. Was blocked, requiring Hawaii password, for both days.
