Hi. Ever since the Montreal Event, circa. 1860, i have offered the personal service of getting postcards signed by friends attending and sending to those who can't join us. If any of you would like me to gather up greetings for you then please email me at mickey_one@hotmail.co.uk and I will get it sorted. Your name and chosen address will help, then an autographed Krakow postcard will be on its way.
all the best
Michael
ps some of you may find it fun to know that Geoffrey has a little trick he plays each time I send him a card. He always makes a deliberate but small mistake when he gives me his address. When the postcard nonetheless arrives he pounces and says "ha! I made a deliberate small mistake in my address". This makes him very happy for several months and although I do not understand the tradition I embrace it with warmth and enthusiasm

Re: Postcard Service for those not attending Krakow
when you went to greece you sent me several postcards (i still have them all), each with a big red london double-decker bus on them - and lorca signed one of them. when i asked her about it (i met her in molde) she shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know anything about it. i also got a postcard from thailand with some jewish writing on it at about the time when you were gallivanting around the world somewhere (i kept that too).mickey_one wrote:Hi. Re: Postcard Service for those not attending Krakow
if it had Lorca's name, then Lorca signed it! I guess it may not have been the very highlight of her trip and, this may come as a shock, drink was taken on most evenings. I remember her as a charming lady who was accompanied by, (I'm pretty sure but it's a long time ago), Martha Wainwright. All postcards are genuine and sent with heartfelt feelings, even in your case, Geoffrey! You are, and always have been, my favourite troll. I have run out of London Bus cards so there is even a chance that Krakow postcards will have Krakow scenes on them......or will they? So don't be shy folks- sign up!
Love, Michael
ps I have never been to Thailand and complete all my cards with Christian writing.

and if you could write in Agnostic please - thanks.
