Did you just see yourself in a mirror, Mark  ? Someone in the Gallery? Your old girlfriend, with whom you 'ended it' because she didn't?

Ciao Mark!

I see what you mean! Leonard doesn't look good. At all.

I love the way he is growing older with such panache and no ego

Lizzytysh,

No.

That was my honest reaction on seeing Leonard's latest self-portrait. I think I prefer the very angry clean-shaven "hook" version rather than the bearded dawn of the dead look he's given us here.

If it is a self portrait, then he certainly wasn't himself that day IMHO  I really can't see any likeness at all!

Few are the people who manage to look good at 6:34 am...

His lined drawings are getting more like Felix Topolski's of a few years ago. The picture is an honest appraisal and he's to be commended on his willingness to share it with us all.

No I think for myself that this drawing's good. It's like a lion den. Cool.
One for the money
Two for the show
Three to get ready

Oh how many times have we all felt like that first thing in a morning? It's the drawing that goes with "I Can't Forget". Personally, I prefer the song, and I wish he would stick to songwriting.

What is that second cartouche he keeps using as well as the hearts on his drawings?

Aha ~ Well, now that I know to what you refer, guess I'll go have a look. I figured it out after others started responding, but thanks, Mark :D .

Okay ~ back! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt  . Now that I can speak credibly ~ I like it. It seems very well-balanced as a composition; and I actually can see the resemblance, Linmag, especially in the mouth area. I love his sardonic humour, as Rebecca may look good at 6:34 AM, but as for the majority of the rest of us..... :? he's pretty dang close.

The other whatever-you-call/ed-it looks like a depiction of "After Closing Time," when the staff has stacked the chairs for the floor cleaners, and in their rush to get out and go home or somewhere else, for pleasure, have let some fall crooked. It's, of course, probably some richly significant and meaningful depiction for Leonard ~ but I certainly have no clue as to what   .

Maybe part of it's a ladder going up the tower of song, but not reaching the top ? :?

Did he draw this only with the computer (mouse and keyboard)? This is what it looks like to me.
