Lizzytysh I hope this makes you smile :
The worker ant
Meandering tirelessly at lightning speed
Doing his dutiful foraging deed
Antenna to ground antenna to tree
He toils in the sun no knowledge of me
Time only to scavenge with one concern
The favours of queen ant he wishes to earn
Fetching and carrying food to her nest
No time to dawdle no time to rest
Cunning and crafty always aware
Discarded morsels lying under my chair
One mission in life one aim to pursue
A subservient gender in a genetic zoo
I observe from a distance this strange affair
And ask is this existence unusually rare
Then no I conclude the worker ant’s plan
Is much the same fate of the married man

LOL ~ that took me WAY beyond a Smile, YL
. It's got that dynamic last line that makes the poem... even better
!
You have an amazing facility with words and descriptions that had this just stayed focused on the lives of ants, it would be great.
Thanks for sharing this. I'd love to read more of what you've written
