'All I know - and you must listen very carefully to this... All I know - is that I know absolutely nothing' - Frank
'Who ever loved that loved not at first sight?' - Christopher Marlowe
Much misunderstood... was the 'Hippie' with a reality fixation...

Re: (Don't know what to call this one)
.. I really like how this poem reads, Alsiony.. especially the stanza I've done here in (moss) green -- how perfect it is (!).. makes my heart "swim" somehow.. though it's swimming in sadness, it seems..Alsiony wrote:He said 'Here is my heart
It's quite stupid in part
But it beats and it's all that I own'
She said 'Here is my soul
My sad little fish bowl
But with it I'm never alone'
They said 'Here we stand small
Always waiting to fall
Or be cut down- it's much the same thing'
Needs must a limit to trite
But
Needs must a limit to spite
For much worse is an overdone sting
As ever- comments welcome

... I think I agree with k. as to its appropriateness right at this time.. when I wrote my "Ren" conclusions, I was feeling, and I think even Harry might have been feeling [though I know I mustn't be thinking too much for Harry!].. but I was feeling it was too bad that Ren ran off angry the way he did.. I would like to believe that most of the zanier things that happen here are in the spirit of fun, but we all have our "bad days" as it were.. and it's easy to have misunderstandings.. and hurt feelings.. especially given we're only dealing with these little black symbols running across the page.. I mean, we're not in each other's presence, in other words.. and even then these misunderstandings occur (!).. so.. not sure what else I can say about it..
.. but maybe -- actually, this song just popped into my head.. so..
.. here goes.. [just love Ed's set.. by the way]..

FULL SCREEN..
.. p.s.. I think a nice title would simply be: "Here is my Heart"

.. oh.. as to that last link.. I love the subtext of that Birds/Ed Sullivan clip.. I mean, there's obviously a bevy of screaming girlies out there.. 'n.. not sure the boys are too tuned in to some of the weightier "time fors" in their song.. [if you catch my drift].. [I mean.. I think we all know "what time it is," as it were].. [couldn't help noting]..

Re: (Don't know what to call this one)
Thanks Girls x
It is about me.
Though of course many other people feel this way at times too, so I thought I would post it here...
The reference to 'He' makes it more accessible to anyone reading it - after all it's a 'human thing' and feeling this way doesn't just come down to gender.
But in my own little world when I wrote it, including he and she was just a simple reference to the fact that I see male and female in everything there is. Positive / negative, or whatever you want to call it.
Despite this being one aspect of me, I am also 'armed' with the real knowledge, that, ridiculous as I am - nobody else can possible know just how ridiculous I am more than I do. Sounds a bit self=loathing I know... but this valuable understanding of reality is probably one of the only reasons that I can feel confident enough to let anything out of myself on occasions, including something like posting poetry on here. Well it is one reason.
Other people may not feel like this. While I can feel so dreadfully hurt, and I am a very emotional creature - I can also take pretty much everything on the chin too. If that makes sense?
Other people don't always feel this way though.
Worrying about being welcome or feeling afraid to speak out and share something, even when that's what you'd desperately love to do, is a such a shame really. (as the poem says- I know how that feels too
)
