I like the poem (the title reminds me of a song by Joni Mitchell). The heart can take people astray; it
can also take people on home. I'm sure that many of us here have experienced both directions.
If the poem is autobiographical, I hope everything did or will work out for you.

yes, the title was taken from the song directly to add dimension and emotion to the poem.
True as all my stuff is, and, in the affairs of the heart, resolution in such an unintenuable situation,
will usually have no resolution. So spent here will maybe somehow find some peace of purpose in the outcome.
Desire is best left when that which you desire, derirest you not!
Or your life is promised as in Camalot.
But in the truth that capacity to love has been established.
Then maybe love one day will be accomplished.
