Graham Coxon

Post by starshaped »

just thought i'd tell you about an artist ive liked for a few years who has some stuff that sounds like LCs. when i first played some of LCs stuff i couldnt help but notice where Coxon gets his influence from. i dont know if his CDs sell mainstream outside the UK, as it's hard to buy them here now.
though his new album is suposed to be punky and could sell a few
Coxons albums worth checking out are...

The Sky is Too High

Crow Sit on Blood Tree

The Kiss of Morning

I love Graham Coxon and I think his guitar-playing is something absolutely wonderful - sensitive and true.
And yes, his new album is punky AND very entertaining (but not as good as, say 'The Sky Is Too High' or 'Crow Sit on Blood Tree')

the new album is great, kind of The Jam sounding, with a bit of graham charm.
