I stand awed at the insight..”in sight” contained in your poem… it is a good read and it does contain vision and stirrs the grey matter....the breath of understanding that you write gives me pause to think ….
This patriarchal world rapes the souls of our children and leaves them floundering in guilt and shame.
Blame me again for what he has done.
I see weakness under the cover of unity and the togetherness of man.
I had a very English father and I am still learning how much the same as him I am and how much different… contained within is both… I remember the pain of disappointing him and the joy of following the path he saw for me… fortunately time has passed and so has he and I am what I have become… I see the pain I can create in a word or deed …and try to sidestep both as much as possible…
