I met a family with large ears
though strangely none of them could hear
When I peered into their eyes
I saw they wore a thin disguise
Their eyes were close together too
flecked with brown on smokey blue
The cat lay on it's back and yawned
while all around the kittens fawned
I sang my best song word for word
relieved to see that no-one heard
