I think Leonard's neighbours are using their best assets to sell the property. It is probably long gone now so we can't all club together to buy it as a timeshare
I am sorry the link doesn't work. Not sure what is missing from it but it was a site selling Leonard's neighbours house for £144,000 in 2001
Yeeeaaahhh.......not encumbered with voyeuristic tendencies, and the house approximately 200,000 USD, I'll take the house down the road, the next road over, or in the next village.
I just read the agent's blurb seating could be arranged in the garden area to look across into L C's property or words to that effect. Leonard would be unlikely to want to go there again!
Personally, if I ended up living next door to Leonard, I'd be certain to position the veranda table and chairs, so they would not have visibility in the direction of his property. If he were there, the last thing I would want is to have him see me wandering out onto my veranda in the morning, coffee in hand, not at all necessarily 'ready' for the day. He may step outdoors in totally 'proper' form, but as for me, I need that privacy. I probably wouldn't even inquire about the house next door!
Yes, Paula, it struck me as overpriced, too. I think the "star-power, desirability factor" factored into the price, even for an essentially-'private' island off Greece. Demetris may be able to clarify the going rate for homes on the island.
Now, there's a typically-Brit understatement, Margaret ~ in fact, he must have been beside himself if/when he thought of it. Do banana trees even grow on Hydra? Or, is he borrowing from California? Or, simply [so original ] playing off the I'm Your Man album cover?
