Here is a new LC mention in song from Newfoundland singer/songwriter Ian Foster's latest CD "We Begin Here." The song is "Orpheus and Eurydice". I heard a "secret track" version with a string quartet on the radio this morning.

The lines that caught my ear were:
"Like Orpheus and Eurydice climbing the hill,
like Leonard and Janis at the Chelsea Hotel,
we were on fire..."

This clip is described as "the guitar swell" version of the song.
