Tex Perkins sings 'Bird on the wire'

I went to see 'The Man in Black' at the Athenaeum, Melbourne on Friday night. Tex Perkins is doing the Johnny Cash story and it was a treat for my daughter who is a big Cash and Carter fan since seeing the film 'Walk the Line'.

Turned out to be a great show, the high point of the night was when the lights went down and the audience went quiet to hear a beautiful rendition of 'Bird on the wire', just one guitar and Tex.

My unexpected Cohen fix while he continues to tour the rest of the world.
