Reflections
Looking in the mirror, and you think you see something
Looking in the mirror, and you think you see one thing
Looking in the mirror, and you think you see nothing
and there is no where to go
for their is nothing to show
your self esteem is so low
that there is nothing to reflect
no image for the silver tiles to detect
and you begin to wander and look
for the image that was the spook
and you realised that it was a fluke
that you were born that gender
and looking inside your mind
your destiny you shall find
the woman was just the moneylender
ain't that chrome nice on that fender?
you will reflect what you want to see
and mind and soul shall go free
on the shadow of the new moon and the gorged sea
where the entrance and the litmus test shall be

Thanks George. Images are all in the mind are they not? Even self-image! That can be the scarey one. I like this one, which is slightly different from your usual style. (which I always enjoy anyway)

One of the features of Qawwali music (ancient music of the Sufi saints) according to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (its best known exponent) is "to repeat a word or phrase until all meaning is exhausted from it."
Nusrat's 12-18 minute songs contain frequent repetitions of lines and often single words in different vocal tones, emphasis and inflection.
Apparently LC is also a Nusrat fan.

The board seems to be a more friendly place with lots of positive poetical social intercourse going on in the last few days. Except, Avalon - total 6 posts, all negative and mainly about you!
Since none of these charactors write why oh why do they bother?
Cheers
