Youngest ever LC cover artist?

Post by Andrew (Darby) »

I somehow missed this earlier, but I've now discovered another wonderful cover of Hallelujah, half in English and half Italian. 8)

The young man, Mark Vincent, is only 15 years of age and won a talent show here in Oz. Critics are suggesting he's destined to become a great opera singer and he's now released his own album My Dream - Mio Visione (which includes Hallelujah). You can find out more about him and his new album by going to this link:

You can see a short film clip featuring his performance of Hallelujah (on YouTube) here:

(For those of you interested in an operatic performance by Mark, check out his Nessun Dorma: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7--0jtoi ... re=related)

Cheers,
Andrew :)

Thank you, Andrew for posting these links. This young man is a remarkable talent! I hope he comes under the influence of your country's two greatest Opera treasures, Dame Joan Sutherland and conductor husband, Maestro Richard Bonyge and pursues a career in Opera.
