wonderful nick cave `into my arms`.
i'd never heard of nick cave before but i really like this song - it has leonardian overtones

therer's probably a better version at youtube (but unfortunately my workplace has blocked most video-sharing sites).
how did i come to be acquainted with it?
i was listening to desert island discs on sunday where hugh fearnley-whittingstall picked it as one of his island tracks.
it's great IMO.

lyrics at link below :
I don't believe in an interventionist God
But I know, darling, that you do
But if I did I would kneel down and ask Him
Not to intervene when it came to you
Not to touch a hair on your head
To leave you as you are
And if He felt He had to direct you
Then direct you into my arms...

You can get hold of 'Free FLV Converter' from download.com. It is free and allows you to download YouTube Videos and convert them into any format, including MP3. Hope this helps!peter danielsen wrote:I found this on you tube. It is the entire session from the "im your fan album"

Bad Seed offers novel experience
The Face: Nick Cave
When rangy antipodean polymath Nick Cave wrote his first novel in 1989, he said that it nearly killed him. His second, The Adventures of Bunny Munro, out this week, was an easier ride. He even wrote the first chapter on his iPhone.
Cave was born in rural Australia. His father died in a car crash when he was 19. After dropping out of college he formed post-punk outfit the Birthday Party, a band that morphed into the Bad Seeds. Songs of chaos and heartbreak went hand in hand with Cave’s heroin addiction. At 51, he’s now a father living in East Sussex, the mellowing of his spirit allowing him to add curator, actor, lecturer and screenwriter to his CV. During October’s theatre tour of readings and music, Cave promises to be “informal, intimate and strange”. So no change there then.
