Any of the Euro-concerts at small venues?

I see a lot of stadiums/arenas. Are there to be no intimate gatherings in Europe? I'd love to see him again, but I'm not a fan of the mega-concert scene. Please clue me in as to which of these events are the smallest. Thanks so much!

I don`t now, but I think, Piazza San Marco must be one of the smaller venues.
