It's almost here, Columbia, MD May 11!
I have pre-sale tickets, and early entrance was announced for 6:00pm. But wait, I had just received an email from AEG live announcing that " THE DOORS WILL OPEN AT 6pm.".
Unless this email was sent to pre-sale ticket holders only, there is no early entrance!
Who else is getting these emails? Is anyone getting an earlier/later time?

I got the same email. I called Merriweather and they have no idea just how many fan club tickets need to be picked up.
The tickets (or listing or whatever they get to show the fan club presale names) are not there at this time. This could be a disaster since 6PM is their normal entrance time when there are no fan club tickets that need to be picked up. This could be a very slow process.

Re: What happened to early entrance?
I can tell you that Chicago was the same -- early opening announced to us & then an email from the theater (I think) about an early opening -- -- but it was no problem -- very few people were there at the early opening time -- some band members came out & visited & it a very casual & worthwhile experience -- don't miss the chance is my suggestion..dvikib wrote:I got the same email. We did pick up our tickets earlier in the day....

I received the same email. Perhaps these emails were being sent only to the people who bought in the presale and the box office opens a bit later for the others
?

Re: What happened to early entrance?
All I can report is my Chicago experience -- there was no one at the doors asking if you were a forum member - just present your ticket & go in -- it is just that there were very few people there at that time -- so it was smooth sailing & a great meeting with some of the band under very relaxed conditions.MaryB wrote:I received the same email. Re: What happened to early entrance?
Just to bring closure to this thread:
There was no early entrance.
It was the only truly disappointing thing about the evening.
