No confirmation from AEG but I replaced Gijon with Léon in my tour itinerary - the information on the Léon Arena website looks so convincing.

AEG's updated list I received yesterday still has Gijon on July 31! I'm pretty sure that it's going to be Léon (this feeling is not based on anything else but Léon Arena's own announcement, so I may be wrong)

according to people from there the gig in Sevilla was also announced by several local newspapers for that day and it's indeed on AEG's site !?!?!?!

seriously, what the hell is wrong with AEG and the gigs in Spain?

actually, Sevilla makes more sense logistically since he plays Lisboa the night before and both cities are way closer and better communicated

but if León happens like everything is indicating, it's clear something happened with the Gijón negotiations and they found a replacement since both towns are in the same area and it wouldn't alter the itinerary significantly. both León and Gijón would geographically make much more sense around the Vigo date though, but looking at the summer tour and how many turns it will take that doesn't mean to matter much.

Sevilla is a beautiful city but it is hell in August. In my opinion, León or Gijón would be much better options.

I have asked AEG several times about this. My contact person wrote yesterday that in his list Gijon is still listed on July 31, not Léon. On AEG's own website July 31 has been reserved for Seville (I haven't checked it recently). From this we can only conclude that there is conflicting information which they try to solve, but it is very obvious there is no time for a pre-sale wherever this concert is going to be, IF a general sale is going to begin next Monday!
