Famous Blue Raincoat Cover

Post by Duffman »

Hi All

There's a few bands/artists that I've always been very dubious about covers of, Leonard Cohen is one of them. However, I came across this yesterday and was pretty impressed by it :)

What does everyone think?

can't see the video at present (due to my internet-access location) but for anyone who's interested `famous blue raincoat` is the leitmotif of a short story by colm tóibín in his volume of short stories `mothers and sons` - published by picador in the uk at £7.99.

here's a version of the story from the guardian - not sure if it was revised for the collection - haven't got the paperback to hand - borrowed it from the public library.
