Unified Heart/Silence

Leonard Cohen, Jikan,
Has redesigned the Star of David
- Two hearts interlocking, one
Pointing upward, the other down

It’s quite a symbol for our day, wouldn’t
You say? He calls it:
Emblem of the Order of the Unified Heart

And he says: “Love is strong as gravity,
And everyone must fall.”

Poetry a sword
Love a living flame

And as with the name: Silence

Dear Taigaku ~

I'm struck by the absolute beauty and simplicity of your poem. I love the emblem you've chosen to honour with a poem, and you've spoken out its meaning elegantly and well. You've also interwoven Leonard's two names with the same beauty that he has interwoven the hearts.
