Scared of it then ever before
Eerie feelings hold me back
Who knows what would happen?

Answering to them consume
A few weeks from my lifetime

A void still remains
Getting larger as I get old
A hole within my heart
Would never heal on its own

I can write my emotions well
On a paper not a minute wide
Enclose within you can find
Decades of my lifetime
Life has traveled, as if
Faster than the speed of time

When it hurts from deep within
I take some pills that get me through the night
Who knows what would happen?

Thoughts of my mind
Are running wild
Trying to create an image
Of the other side

Scared of that image
Wipes the slate clean
Starts all over again
Lost within this cycle
Of creation and annihilation

Sometimes, I wish
I was still a little boy
Father was my God
So wise and so strong
No worries to carry
No promises to break

Life started at the footsteps
Of our little house
Ended with the warmth
Of my mothers embrace

Yet, this reality hits every time
That I would be all alone at the end
No sorrows to carry me through
No mother to hold my hand
