Well....it's actually a friend's fond recollection . He saw Leonard in Texas , in the 70's . Leonard was in top form . He kept coming back for encore after encore and the crowd was ecstatic . Finally , after playing for a total of 4 hours , the house management turned on the lights and told Leonard he would have to end the show . Leonard proceeded to march out of the theater , with guitar and fans in tow , pied piper style down the street until they reached a park . There , Leonard proceeded to sing and recite poetry until sunrise .

Nope...not an urban legend . This wasn't a "friend of a friend" type of thing . It was a cherished memory related to me firt hand . Leonard....I need some confirmation here !
