Okay, so I have to qualify this by explaining how this came about - to sufficiently lower expectations of anything profound.

I'd been getting spam emails from a poetry website and my hubby and I were talking about how they probably accept and give awards to anything, even a grocery list, so they can try to sell their merchandise. So, we were puttering around Daegu, S. Korea in our 3 banger car with a loose muffler, in the dusk before a typhoon was to hit. I caught a glimpse of a figure in an upper-story window and these words just popped into my head. I don't really write poetry, haven't really written anything since college, so who knows where this came from.

Groovemaster
Halting, leaning, falling, stalling
Groovemaster lost his tune
Seeking, hunting, hiding, striving
Hope he finds it soon

Idly at the window, idle souls can't wait
Find the groove, save our souls
Before it's much too late
