Darkness all around and not a sound
Staying behind the door
So I can look around some more

The day as long as the faces of sad old clowns
Love is just a favorite toy
Same as a dream when I was just a boy
Love used to be a magic voice
Now it’s just an empty noise
I, was happy when there was a choice
As I grew, love’s problems, gave me a face of frowns
Love, cold as a forgotten friend, began so sincere
Always ending, in the night, with the break of a tear
If only I can step through the door
And smile at what life may share
