Anxiously awaiting U.S. dates......

Post by cartesian »

Everyday I come on here hoping the tour is announced. It's some serious anticipation, waiting for one of your heroes to come to or near your home town. If he tours in April, which I believe was what was posted here at some point, one would figure the announcement could come anyday!

just a guess, but I would think an announcement around the date of the NY concert in two weeks would make sense. that way the publicity of the concert would enhance the publicity for the tour.

that's what they did last year, when the first leg was announced as Leonard was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

I am likely purchasing a ticket to Coachella and taking the train down from Portland, Or to see him - but certainly wish he will announce later dates and will come close to Portland so I can see him again. Without the fuss of a festival

I also live in Portland, but am doing the Beacon show instead of Coachella. Standing in the sun all day to hear a shortened setlist doesn't sound good to me, although there are a few other acts on the bill I wouldn't mind seeing. Hoping to catch him later somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Portland might be a longshot, but Seattle or Vancouver are close enough!
