I'm certain Leonard would love his part

. For one thing, he's the only one still living

. I guess that's why he got trumped for the bigger words. Respect for the dead and all that jazz

I believe JD Salinger is still alive as well. When he dies I think there is supposedly a lot of his writing that will be released that he never published.

Whoops, sorry, JD. I was thinking he was dead, too. Don't want to wish him to an earlier grave than time will bring on its own. Was Leonard's quote taken from "Bird On a Wire"?
