Hello folks. My name's Kris, I'm from Canada and I grew up with Leonard Cohen's music and even got the chance to see him live in the early 90s. I've been playing guitar for several years now but hadn't really sat down to learn a song of Lenny's until quite recently.

A few months ago I was asked to play some covers of "sad" songs of my choosing for a benefit show, Avalanche being one of them. I've always wanted to learn it but I didn't memorize the lyrics in time! I'm playing on a new guitar so the tone is a little muddy but I thought I'd contribute my humble little cover here anyway. I've been listening to Songs and Songs from a Room a fair bit lately, so maybe a proper cover will come someday soon. I'm thinking "The Old Revolution," "Seems So Long Ago, Nancy," so far.
Thanks for listening!
