It was two strokes past twelve
when i got to delve
and managed to break into the tomb
and therein was a massive room
lit by candles from yak dung
and there were machines
that only we could dream
and dream and scheme
of a mission to stroke the lot
and the Buddah did watch
under a blazing torch
of the entrance under the porch
bewteen the pillars of wisdom
jet back and made from slate
and wales or ireland it was from
and the fairies hovered right along
and the banshee wailed right out of the grate
your death is right coming, it's much too late
and the rhombus turned right into a polygon
and the matrix changed some
the fairie turned into the horned one
and the graphic card was burning hot
to metamorphise the good lady of shalot
and you wonder what really is reality
are dreams really part of me?
or something implanted long ago
of divine genes that straightened our back?
and cause us all to take panic attacks?
where the angels really the apple of the tree?
and caused our souls from the forbidden free?
and moved our nest down to the earth
always waiting for the second birth
