I'm new here and so have no idea which forum this should go in!

Does anyone know of, or have a decent quality recording of the spoken word A Thousand Kisses Deep he's been performing recently? I saw him in Edinburgh and was captivated. I've watched a few on youtube (if anyone hasn't heard this - I recommend you check this out:

Good spot. It is similar to Barber's Adagio. Reminded me of it too.

The YouTube combo isn't as effective as the live recital - Cohen's reading of the poem is a bit too pacey and not as involving.

No do not know the background music. I too wanted to get a version of this that was not recorded from a concert. ie The London 02. Because you have the cheering and interruption on that one. Nothing wrong in that but I would love to have it spoken without that as well. I was at that concert and it was incredible that 20,000 people and you could hear a pin drop at times when he recited that.
