Chasing Rainbows

You can spend a lifetime on a quest for love
You can dream of travelling to the stars above.
You can search the shadows, you can hope and pray,
Just as you reach out, then it slips away.

Leave behind the city load, a journey for the pot of gold.

All the things you left behind, in another place and time.

These verses really need to be heard in song as the music was written before the words. Thus this is clearly a song lyric and not a poem.
As Coco is taken by the image of a rainbow I thought this may be of some minor interest. Regards to George for his kind expression.
