I met Leonard in L.A.

Greetings all,

I just found this board and think it is great. There are so many fans in here. I had the pleasure of going to see Leonard and the band practice several times in Los Angeles a couple of months ago. One night I stayed from 6:00 - 11:00. Leonard and the band sounded great! I asked if there was going to be a show in Los Angels and they really did not know at that time.

I have met many, many musicians and actors in my life and I have to tell you that Leonard Cohen is one of the nicest most friendly guys I have ever met. I gave him a bottle of wine on one of the last nights and he thanked me by lifting a glass of wine to me during "Democracy". I just thought wow, what a gesture!

I also look forward to reading many of your posts here.
