The Swedish vocalist Lena Måndotter has been singing Leonard Cohen's songs live all over Sweden for over a year. She recorded the songs with a small, acoustic band with the ambition to perform the songs in a personal but still respectful way. Chello, guitars, bouzouki, mandola. The arrangements are tasteful, yet imaginative. And they create the perfect backup to Lena Måndotter's magnificent, deep voice.
