Wow. Everybody liked them. I can imagine the bill for the plane fare to get 30 travelers from San Francisco to New York, but they performed at the Highline Ballroom for over an hour for a nominal fee. Interesting to hear songs usually performed by one lone voice turned into choral music, but it put those songs into a new perspective. They have a website, sell CDs and t-shirts if anybody wants one.

Conspiracy literally means that they breathe together, which is what they do when they sing. It does sound enticingly menacing as a group name-- thought it might be from a Cohen poem.

Conspiracy of Beards Take Manhattan
Re: Conspiracy of Beards Take Manhattan
WoW. I never would've dreamt they would be so interesting and so impressive. Excellent! I prefer watching them in black & white over colour. Is more intense and seems much more appropriate to Leonard's songs. You're right on the different flavour it brings to the songs. I love these. Sub-titling them is a great idea
. You've done a fine job with these, Lightning. What a GREAT SHOW!!
