My son and Mr. Cohen

Post by glyn »

Whilst copying Amsterdam 1980 for Jordi, I did a spare disc one because I am brainless. So I put it in a nice sleeve and gave it to my son who tried to give it back. I said, "One day you will play this a realise how wonderful the songs are. It may next week. It may be ten years time but it will happen." So he promised not to throw it away. I did later hear him listening to Suzanne because as he told his mother he loves that song. On the subject of my son he has a new cd out called Simmo. It is excellent. Partly recorded at home and partly in the studio but mastered and mixed in a studio. He plays various guitars, bass and it has drum backing. He is a great lyric writer. If you want a copy at a very cheap price 7Euros or £5 then send me and email and I'll give you the address to write to.

Good on your son - I hope he does well in his clearly developing career as a musician! (What's more, 'Suzanne' is a good start!)

Cheers
Andrew (Darby) :)

:? Oh dear, never having dealt with the "latest, greatest" Euro or Libre/Litre/L with the squiggle through it  , I have no idea what the conversion to USD. would be ~ or are you presuming that none of us over here would be interested  ? Or do we need to convert our USDs to either Euros or that funny L, either of which you can utilize? And, do you have any idea how many USDs it is?

[I had a feeling Simmo was your son :D ! Excellent, if I may say so myself :D !] Congratulations to him!!!
