Death Of A Ladies Man... Naked

Post by minordrag »

Would anybody else like to hear a stripped down Death of A Ladies Man in the same vein as the Beatles Let It Be... Naked?

Is that a rhetorical question? Myself, yes, I would like to hear DOALM before it hit the 'wall of sound'.. But your post doesn't offer anything but a question. Same with the Anjani vs. Sharon post. Is there bad blood? Who knows? Anjani was around before Dear Heather. She was on Recent Songs which was long before 10 New Songs. So, what are you getting at, really? Just trolling for response? Or polling for interest? Naturally, being an LC fan, I'd like to hear the 'bare bones' as it were. Do you have anything further to add? These types of posts are always interesting to me, as I know that by responding, I've likely sealed my fate. 8)

questions sometimes prompth other questions. The question that I would ask myself is if I could find one single reason to hold onto the idea that there is bad blood between the two women that isn't stressful or hurtful? I didn't find any. If I could find a reason maybe it would have a hold on me, as it is I don't think it will.

Wise man. I think I'll take your lead. Don't be stepping on my toes, now.

Back when I was living on the res. They took me out to a dance. I never danced those kind of dances before and wasn't very good but still the older women would drag me to the dance floor. Kohkom is what they called a grandmother.

The next day at the band office some of the younger men performed a mock ceremony where they pressented me with my "indian name"

they called me "two left feet, dances with kohkoms"

pay attention to that part about two left feet if you care for your toes.

In all the excitement around Leonard's tour of Europe I only stumbled across the news recently that Larry Levine, engineer on Death of a Ladies Man and essential to Spector's wall of sound died on May 8th last. A somtimes great album engineered by what looks like a good man. You've left your fingerprint.
Roll on the Fall tour.
