What  ?! I thought the poem had to be in by tomorrow. In fact, I thought I had until 4am Wednesday morning British time. Please confirm, as I may need to hastily switch my attention to my poem rather than creating elaborate excuses about why I haven't done it. Gasp.
substitute some words that are superfluous with "old love letter"
Ah, why didn't I think of that? Thanks for being so helpful, Lizzy.

Well..... lucky for you, my bad, Diane  . I've just corrected it on the other thread [as well as in the previous posting here, but not in such a way as to make you look like an idiot  ]... yes, it's Tuesday night ~ 11 PM my time; 4 AM on Wednesday, your time  . I can see it all now  .

Thanks for the correction 8) .

"I write entirely to find out what I'm thinking, what I'm looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and what I fear." - Joan Didion

I saw this in E-Verse Radio this morning and thought you'd appreciate it.

Blimey, it is late at night and I have had a glass of cider or two and I have no idea how to respond to your quote :? .

So, I shall simply add another cool-sounding quote about writing:

“We make out of the quarrel with others, rhetoric, but of the quarrel with ourselves, poetry.” WB Yeats

Good night, Lizzy,

Love,

Diane

PS another Yeats quote: The innocent and the beautiful (losers) have no enemy but time 8) .
