yeah, i had heard of several different people for janis, as well as for jimi. the pink one for janis and the andre benjamin for jimi are the ones i've heard the most though. renee zellwegger sounds familiar as a former choice, but i honestly don't remember who the others were. anyway, i can't wait for both of them. i was never into either of them that much (though i OBVIOUSLY know who they are and know a good bulk of their songs), i was never into johnny cash or ray charles either, but both films were great. so we'll see how they go.
