Just walk the dog past a seedy hotel; enroute back from the airport, drive back by the seedy hotel; and at the prison conference, mention the hotel to your conferees. I'm certain something dreadful has happened there in the past, of which they'll make you aware, and by 9:00 PM, you'll have your poem. Fortunately, you're a quick study

oh dear, now add a funeral tomorrow some time. an uncle who lived in the same road as me. I was so pleased I got to the hospital last week to see him and my girls, who were very fond of him, also had the chance to say goodbye.

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear about the death of your uncle, Michael. Yes, never underestimate the potential and value of those visits to the hospital. They may be all that you're left with as a goodbye. You have a very busy day ahead.

well, Lizzy don't come close in case this is all contagious. my best friend rang just now and his dad died. another funeral tomorrow. dum di dum...

Good Lord, Michael! That's horrible. Funerals here happen much further out than the death itself. Your concentration is certainly being compromised.

As for me, don't tell Partisan. He'll be buying and overnighting me a plane ticket.
