We went to a classical guitar concert in July.
It was in Ness Gardens, which is a horticulturists heaven.
People sat on blankets or folding chairs and drank wine with some sandwiches. The weather had been hot all day, but cooled as the evening wore on.
The artist was Matthew Sallis, who sat in the focal point of our semi circle and he gave a wonderful performance. One of his young family wended his way amongst us during the interval, with a box of CD's for £5, which people were keen to buy. There were none left when he got to us, but I wrote my name and address on a slip of paper and handed over the money. Two weeks later the CD arrived and I've played it several times when I've had the house to myself. The music is beautiful and I day-dream about being back in the evening sunlight with the classical guitar being accompanied by the birds in the surrounding trees. A truly lovely evening. But it did get cold by the end. If anyone likes classical guitar go to

matthine.www1host.net

The web address is as I've written it above.
Its Matthew's site with samples of his craft/gift. :)
