Queen Victoria

Post by geoffberner »

Hullo,

I just thought I'd mention, I've recorded one of Mr. Cohen's least-loved songs, "Queen Victoria", for my album, The Wedding Dance of the Widow Bride, on Jericho Beach Records, distributed worldwide.

For me, it perfectly deals with the rage and sorrow boiling under Jewish-Canadian Anglophilia. And human existence in general, too.

Somebody wrote about seeing me at the Rudolstadt festival in Germany. I think there was confusion about me playing the ukelele. I play the accordion, actually.

I'm playing in Alberta this weekend, and about 120 other places each year.

Feel free to write to me at geoffberner@yahoo.ca
