Do the things that grow upward to the sun
hold any of it from falling ever downward
Or do they in their futile effort show us that we, too, fail?

I quite enjoyed this particular part

Hi Pbshel ~
I remember seeing the trees breathe, but I never had pen and paper handy for writing anything. Reading your reflections and ponderings, I sure wish I had. I, too [the same as In_betweenthegrey... whose avatar looks very intrigueing, by the way], really like the way you used Nature's natural processes to pose a question about we live in the world.
