There was an old man from Montreal town
His life as a poet had brought him renown
But then he was lynched
His money all pinched
And now he's a crook with a frown
I remember him well in the Chelsea
Building Society
He was famous, a legend, almost a deity
But it's clearly LC
on CCTV
And this time it's him going down

Well, again, Kelley's name really lends itself to punning. I liked the indirect way that this one did that. This writer also referenced the poster itself, in the "with a frown" line. And along with the rhyming of the TV channel, I liked the turnaround wordplay in the final line
. This one almost seemed like two poems, and I thought it was cute.

I like this one, simple and funny. I also like the Chelsea Building Society reference and the whole tie in with being an English criminal.

Joney and Lizzy you are too kind. Mind you, you'd think people could be creative enough not to keep using that tired old Chelsea Hotel reference.
