Well, I was on my way out the door, Manna... but since you gave me an Edited line, I had to find out who you were and what you'd said... so, now that I have, YES, it would seem so, wouldn't it?

UNLESS... [not likely, but maybe] she just wanted the concepts convered. Since I'd already solidified your September, it was only fitting that you fill in for me for February.

Now, what kind of bums do you suppose she has in mind? You know how she can be. So, if you'll just come up with a Feb concept to suit her, we'll switch back... and then you can nail her down... or is it up to you ? Burlesque in various forms and degrees of undress leaves us a bit of latitude . And don't worry... your September secret is safe with me. Unless someone figures it out on their own, no one will ever know. And, with the calendar market being as it is, I'm confident our secret will go with us to the *catacombs*.

Oh, yes, I knew I said that... ... and about September, too... it was just that the "duh" factor had just resolved as to why Manna wanted it... and since she had referenced a fight, I decided to take it to an all-out brawl, Bowery level. Goddesses gone bum. It just didn't happen to necessarily mean I wanted it . She spoke first... and, frankly, I can't believe I didn't . So, with your approval [if I'm still in the game, that is], we will post-haste switch... though I would like to request her assistance on MY theme now [if I'm still in the game, that is]. Please advise ASAP, so I can quit backtracking on my thoughts.

I was a bit in dehydrated state yesterday, myself, needing some of that nectar... but Zeus wouldn't give me a drop until I handed over his fish and chips . Recalcitrant, reprehensible ruler that he is when he wants to be... a dying demi-goddess meant absolutely nothing to him. Today's election was almost a posthumous matter.

Is someone else going to Goddess the gates today? I believe, being an unofficial demi-goddess, that I may be due some high-risk pay for yesterday, but I can let the compensation go in the better interest of the city... and, until the election results have been tallied, if you need a demi-goddess volunteer, well, I'm your girl.

When are they ever going to give up !?! Geez... the humiliation of it all. Do they keep recruiting upstarts or what? History has shown they can't prevail in the world of The Goddesses... they're really becoming a nuisance with their bravado attempts, though, aren't they??? Especially now that they've taken to wearing those ridiculous masks that make them look dubious. You do have better things you could be doing . Well, won't be long before The Goddesses' collective laughter will just shame them into retreat; but, in the meantime, with just the two of us here, glad to see you're on the job.

Would you girls believe me if I told you that I am now being laid off from my job? It has been quite a week. Most opportune actually as I will now have more time for our rehearsals. Yep. That's what I was afraid of... the link got lost in the murky waters of the sea and all I got was some Morse Code message indicating "The page cannot be displayed" ~ I don't know, those sea captains seem to think they oughta be the only ones privy to porn, soft as it may be, so they just dump such things overboard ~ they probably just saw the word "provacateur" and drew their, as usual, erogenous conclusions. [Oh, did I mean erroneous ?] So... if you and Madonna end up in the same locale, I could send a single package to cover you both, and then you could mail it on to ChiGoddess Damellon and she to Manna, and then it'll be very little postage for it to make it back to me. Actually, it should be such a lightweight package that it will be quite affordable for everyone. It probably could just be put away in the Goddess Costume Department, though; since, as I said, demi-goddesses would never dream of such things. Can someone please take over the gate for awhile? If you can, will you? I've got some things that really need to get done and require typing to do them. I can leave you my notepad to use so you don't get bored. Time usually goes pretty fast; just be sure to grab some water before you start. It may not seem it at first, but it's hot out there. ChiGoddess should be returning soon, too.

Christine......so sorry about the job - did it come as a shock? If I may say so, there was an air of quiet desperation about you in BM's the other night, maybe Mr BM picked up on that - ergo the supernatural drinks, and your 'to hell with it' mood may have set the tone for the enthusiasm we all showed for the Game. Hold on to your dollars, hold off on the lingerie purchases for the moment. Did you really 'lose' the ATM card? Can't find Gwendoline but Anita's there and a section called 'Hot Babes' that I haven't investigated yet. Need to line up a few mortal celebrities for the red carpet premiere, so no date fixed yet. BM says all tamed pets of hers are present and correct so we needn't feel guilty about the teriyaki. But which of them gave me the bites? Have a long night ahead of me, vote counting, so must away. The way I understood this election, there ought to be only four ballots in that box, ChiGoddess . Who's been stuffing it ? Or are you just a slow and careful counter with multiple check and recheck systems... hence, an ace tax preparer alongside your ChiGoddess realm of duties? The only platform I have time for at this point is the one that will get my nose to the window when Hermes arrives. Even then, I can't run on it .
