Hi Smile
By Cambridge do you mean the annual Cambridge folk festival or just come over to Cambridge anyway?
I used to go to the Cambridge folk festival in the 70's and it's crossed my mind that it would be a great venue for Leonard to appear..and it still would. He could do a slot at the festival .. just a few songs....or maybe a few more... and then he could enjoy the rest of the festival with everyone else..we would promise not to mob him.

Just a thought

Hi Smile
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly
Pete

I also see that there is a Cambridge Junction which hosts concerts etc
I presume that is on a smaller scale

Hi Pete,
Cambridge is a great city to play in (and only 55 by train from London).
The bigger venue (but not huge) is the Cambridge Corn Exchange, which is seated. The Junction is a smaller standing venue (John Cale played there recently). Best wishes, John E

In 1973 I had a summer job in Cambridge at the Blue Boar Hotel, which I believe is not there any more.

I worked in the kitchens and once the chef let me make 'Chef''s homemade soup'.
It was very difficult as the packets were sometimes awkward to open :D
