Toronto gathering
Hi Phil ~Philip Glass Tickets are presently out of stock or have not yet been released for resale. Rest assured you are at the right place as WE GUARANTEE that you will be amongst the first to be notified as soon as the tickets you want are available!
Use the comments field to let us know the maximum you would like to pay, and which seating category interests you the most.
I would feel better about this is it said "have not yet been released for
sale" rather than "resale"! Or, is "resale" the given term for an outlet for tickets other than the venue itself?
This is feeling a tad tense because flight and travel plans are predicated upon a June 1 attendance.

The following from the Luminato Festival website:
Tickets for the inaugural Luminato Festival of Arts & Creativity go on sale Monday, April 16.Luminato gratefully acknowledges the generous support and vision of the following individuals, corporations, particularly our new partner in creativity, L’Oréal, and government partners, especially the Government of Ontario:
Does not say anything about 'where' to get tickets, although as previously mentioned here, Ticketmasters is the Elgin official ticket seller.
Perhaps more will come on the site closer to the 16th.

more
again from the Luminato site:
Not the Messiah (He’s A Very Naughty Boy) – Spamalot’s Tony and Grammy award-winning creators Eric Idle and John Du Prez present the world premiere of an original light-hearted oratorio inspired by Monty Python’s Life of Brian. Commissioned by Luminato and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Not The Messiah will be conducted by Peter Oundjian who is also Eric Idle’s cousin. It will be performed with a narrator, the TSO, guest soloists and choir. Roy Thomson Hall, June 1-4.
http://www.roythomson.com/
Neither the Elgin or the Roy Thompson Hall show any of these events on their own schedules on their websites. The Elgin uses Ticketmasters while the Roy Thomson Hall seems to handle their own ticket sales.
The only event related to the Festival (Vida) for which tickets are available is selling them through TicketKing.
However, the festival might use a comletely different method. We'll likely have to wait until the 16th before we know for sure. Hopefully we will be able to do one stop shopping. It will be a pain to have to go to several different vendors to buy tickets for each event.

I couldn't find that listed on their site, though I did find the same information elsewhere. The new Luminato website is up on the 13th of April so let's hope this one will be a little bit better. I assume they will have all of the ticket links in the same place. Some of the events go through ticketmaster.ca, some though harbourfront centre, some through roy thomson hall, some through ticketking, it is quite a palaver. I am sure they will want to do some central thing.

Also notice this for June 2nd:
A CONVERSATION WITH LEONARD COHEN AND PHILIP GLASS
Genius meets genius onstage at the Winter Garden Theatre as music master Philip Glass teams with Canada's foremost artistic provocateur, novelist, songwriter, poet and performer Leonard Cohen, to examine the creative process that resulted in the Luminato's world premiere of their collaboration, Book of Longing.
