Presciently Pissed in Trinity

Post by mat james »

Presciently Pissed.

If vodka is pure spirit
then whisky is spirit with character.

If
pure spirit
is
steeped in a vat
for three years and more
then vodka becomes whisky

and I am Vodka
and I am Whiskey

and I am spirit
and I am human

I AM
...Spirit

and after four billion years
in the vat of space/time
I am human;
Spirit with character!

and I am Spirit
and I am Human

I AM!

And:
"I am Who Am"
Iamwhoam
...unity

Matj

The following babble is only for those who wonder about trinity.
Elaboration: "In the Spirit of Trinity"
In my poem "Presciently Pissed" I explore this concept of "I Am", using the analogy of Vodka and Whisky. The "I Am" perspective that is common to Mystics, of all religions, exists outside the "Vat of space time" while the "individual life", the Whiskey, abides inside the "vat", along with the rest of time/space existence. Even evolution, over billions of years exists inside the vat. Matj"s vodka/spirit may take many forms and evolve through many existences inside the vat
However "outside the vat" the original Spirit (Vodka) ever-presently exists and is the basis of the Whiskey(and all varieties of whisky!) inside the vat as well.
The interesting thing/perspective here, outside the vat, is that "Vodka" (Spirit beyond space-time) does not have the time/space perspectives/flavours, and can only be singular/undifferentiated "is-ness". (Vodka), great stuff but underdeveloped and never "aged".

This godly perspective is the universal mystic vision.

It is difficult to understand and define from "inside the vat" because it is experienced "outside the vat" of differentiation, the World of the Opposites.

One can only guess at how difficult it is for the Spirit outside the vat to take too seriously the turmoil happening inside the vat. Because this contemplation that ends in understanding takes place in time, which only exists "inside the vat". Because of this peculiarity, God may onlybe able to experience time through inside the "vat" (Creation). Now this poses an interesting thought/hypothesis, in favour of Creation Theory.
Thinking requires time. Time requires space.
When the first thought emanated from the vat-less void of Vodka; space and time and the potential for matter (the Vat itself), were created.

This suggests an hypothesis: The act of creation was an unconscious act.

The Vodka's that now permeate inside and outside the Vat are different. One is "age-ing" and the other "is not aging" as it is not of time or space.
It could be said that a "visitor" from the "vat" (you or me or Jesus or Blake or Rumi or Buddha etc) can only awaken into immediacy of being/knowing/awareness, because all is undifferentiated outside the vat. That is , all is eternally everpresent.

This is what I would call "having two views".
Inside the vat and outside the vat.(I think the Taoists also call it "having two views", so I probably stole the label from them!)
View One: a place in space/time.
View Two: I am Who am.

This leads on, for me, to the concept of "trinity".
Having 3 views!

View One:Individuality, whether dinosaur or futuristic ant. A place in time/space; being Whiskey "somewhere" (time needs space to "be").

View Three: God. Undifferentiated spirit; the omni-ocean of spaceless and timless Vodka.

View Two:The Holy Spirit. The Interface. (The "Vat itself". The zone/means of diffusion, omni-osmosis, between views one and three.

It is possible for the individual to "experience" all three views. That is why people have been chatting about "Trinity" for a long time (in view one  )

"proof" :!: :!:

Ha! Steven!
Double meanings: I love them. And this is sooooo apt.
I should steal that and include it in my poem.

The funny thing about alcohol is that it only has to be 50% to be 100 proof. This is rather mis-leading.
I wonder if the same ratio works for the other "proof"?
Does one need to be only 1/2 divine (or 1/2 mad) to be 100 proof mystic?
Maybe it's a "universal" ratio.

Regards, Matj

Just under 1/2.

I bought myself a toy for Christmas. It was a gyroscope. I was trying to learn something about the effect that one moving body has on another moving body and a gyroscope is very good for that. What I noticed was that in whatever direction you push a moving gyroscope it would always move at 90 degrees from the direction you are pushing. If you are a little right of center it goes left and from a little left it goes right. So there is a very fine line between a 180 degree difference.

Hey Jack,
"I was trying to learn something about the effect that one moving body has on another moving body"
Jack L.

Sometimes it's fun to quote out of context!
I like to think about those effects also. Funny about that. Apparently so does someone else around here.

It seems to me you are right Lizzy!

For those who ponder concepts of trinity, I have added some babble at the end of this posted poem "Presciently Pissed".
It is probably more for the Catholic and Hindu than others.
