I love the imagery.
As a reader, I wonder if they are based on experience or imagination.
As someone who also has a go at writing poetry, I love the way you use repetitionn not only of words, but associated transmuting imagery facilitated by the several meanings of a word or phrase. Great stuff and truly poetical by my reckoning.
