B B King
He was interviewed on Radio 4 yesterday evening and told us how much he enjoyed that blind Italian, opera singer's voice. (One for Laurie) You know who we mean. It was a really good interview in which we got to hear something of the man, rather than his singing.
"Bipolar is a roller-coaster ride without a seat belt. One day you're flying with the fireworks; for the next month you're being scraped off the trolley" I said that.
It was a great start to the day hearing B. B king on the radio. You can hear the interview (up until Tuesday) on the link below. Scroll down to 8.23 and click on B. B King.

Rob, how poignant that he mentions at the end of the interview, how you can be talking to someone today and they're dead tomorrow, as we mourn Gene Pitney, who died the following night after a concert in your neck of the woods.
